Looking ForwardA church that looks forward We live in a rapidly changing world, a world that, because of modern technology, seems much smaller than it used to be. It is a world that places little importance on religion and even less importance on religious morals. Living as Christians in this kind of world means two things for us. Firstly, we must learn from our past but not yearn for the way things used to be, for that is denying we can do better in the here and now. Secondly, we must work hard in the present, for the future, that is where our focus must be. It is true to say that in order to go in a certain direction you have to be looking in that direction. To be forward movers in church life, work and witness, then we must be forward thinkers.
