Terms and Conditions

For the attention of the Users of the
CHURCH HALL & ASSOCIATED ROOMS
On Arrival

1 We respectfully remind you that we do not allow any smoking and alcohol on the premises.

2 Please make yourself aware of the fire exit through the lounge (the carpeted room with the glass door). The key to the outside door is on the keyboard marked EXIT at the bottom of the stairway. Please see church “Emergency Routes” and Fire & Safety Procedures” documents supplied with this form for further details.

3 The First Aid kit is in the kitchen together with a clipboard carrying Accident Report forms. Should there be any incident resulting in injury requiring treatment, it must be reported and the form handed to the Bookings Secretary.

4 The Heating System
- The radiators have thermostatic valves that are adjustable.
- If you need to turn the heating on, press the override button on the time switches by the side of the boiler in the kitchen. (Red light = on)

5 Adult tables, children’s tables and children’s chairs are in the large cupboard in the hall. Adult chairs are in the rear small room.

6 All the kitchen facilities are available for your use; BUT please do not use any food items – these are reserved for other users.

7 Toilet Facilities. There is now a baby change facility in the disabled toilet. ALL used nappies DIRECTLY into the outside bin please! Please do not pull the orange cord in the disabled toilet except in an emergency. If the cord is pulled, please press the reset button on the wall to the left of the disabled toilet to turn off the lights/siren.

8 Electrical Equipment. Users are permitted to bring their own electrical equipment to use in the hall but are responsible for the safe condition and usage of any such equipment and will be responsible for any consequential damage arising from the use of such equipment.

On Leaving

1 Please leave the hall and other rooms clean and tidy, ready for those using it after you. This includes all toys which must be replaced in their cupboard.
(A large broom is in the hall cupboard and the dustpan and brush are in the cupboard in the disabled toilet.)

2 Please stack the tables and chairs tidily in their correct places (see 5 above). There is a photograph on the inside of the large cupboard door showing how mats, tables and chairs should be stored.

3 Please check that:
- all the radiators are set to temperature ‘4’
- the heating overrides have been cancelled (Red light = off)
- all the lights are off, including the toilets and the kitchen
- all the outside doors are locked.

4 If there is any accidental damage it must be reported to the Hall Bookings Secretary as soon as possible.
